The Dance With Tracy program has began it's 8th incredible year in Franklin, Tn! The program, under the direction of Tracy Lyda, prides itself on providing an atmosphere of respect for the dancer as well as the person. DWT has continually received top awards including overall regional and national tap championship titles at Applause and Showstopper talent competitions. Recent highlights include 1st place overall tap duet/trio, 1st place platinum and highest overall top tap group of the day-junior division, 1st place high gold tap soloist, 1st place high gold junior large jazz group and 1st place overall high gold junior production super group awards, all from the Showstopper Dance competition in May 2006. The Dance With Tracy program is also very proud of the Dance Company that traveled to Memphis in October 2005 to take master classes with top teachers from around the world. The program also offers exciting year round events including a float in the Franklin Christmas parade and our annual recital held at the end of the dance year. We are looking forward to an exciting 2007/2008 season and we hope you can be a part of the Dance With Tracy program.
